Royal Haskoning's Renewable Energy experts will be present at the Anglian Water Renewable Energy Summit on February 9th at the Eco Innovation Centre in Peterborough. Anglian Water have set the aspirational target of generating around 25% of the energy used by the business (Anglian Water’s current energy demand is around 700 Gwh/yr) from renewable sources by 2015. Even with current plans for two wind turbine sites and to increase the percentage produced from biogas CHP, there is still a 10% gap in meeting this target.

The event will be the first of its kind to focus on this topic with such a wide geographical focus. Royal Haskoning will be exhibiting at the event and our wind energy experts will be on hand to share their experiences of working on some of the largest wind farms in the world, the Thanet and Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farms.
