Restoration

The preservation of historic building structures requires sensitivity and a thorough knowledge of construction techniques and materials from earlier times which are used only rarely today.

Royal Haskoning is involved in restoring and maintaining most of the major Victorian glasshouses in the UK, offering specialist structural advice and engineering.  As well as restoring and repairing wrought and cast iron structures, we are involved in the restoration of traditional timber and masonry structures, and the restoration of more modern concrete structures and maritime sites.
