Forensic Analysis Expert Witness Work
From time-to-time construction contracts experience unexpected or unforeseeable problems which can cause delays and lead to significant additional costs.
The origin of these problems is not always immediately obvious. However, by careful gathering and forensic analysis of available data (such as historical information, ground investigation reports, design documentation, construction records and operational data), the causes of a problem can be identified.
Many of Royal Haskoning’s senior geotechnical staff have worked as expert witnesses and / or senior technical advisors on problematic construction projects around the world.
In some cases this has led to the preparation of Expert Witness reports and involvement with court cases, arbitrations, adjudications, mediations and the like.
