Royal Haskoning is synonymous with shipyard and drydock engineering, responsible for the design of drydocks and related infrastructure of all types and size throughout the world for over 30 years.
This has included the design of the world's largest drydock, which included the entrance and intermediate gate, for the Daewoo Okpo Shipyard in South Korea, which has an entrance width of 131m.
As well as designing modern drydock facilities for all vessel sizes, Royal Haskoning has been responsible for the modernisation of old admiralty docks in naval bases. This has included the designing of dock infrastructure such as hauling-in systems, dock arms, dock blocks, fendering, crane beams/rails and dock services.
